Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear Parents,
As mentioned in our camp information and registration package, the final week of our Summer Camp concludes this week, followed by our special cottage day trip during the week of July 27. Below you will find all the important information regarding the cottage trip.
We are excited to invite your son to join us for this special day trip experience. Throughout the trip, students will enjoy a variety of recreational and outdoor activities while developing leadership skills, teamwork, independence, and lasting friendships in a safe and memorable environment, Insh'Allah.
Group
This email is specific to the younger group (Sayyidna Zaid ibn Thabit’s group) at the Boys Camp.
Time & Meeting Location
Students should arrive at 2333 Wyecroft Road on Thursday, July 30 at 8:00 AM. We will depart for the cottage shortly afterward and return to the same location on Thursday, July 30 at approximately 10:00 PM. Exact departure and arrival times will be communicated via a trip channel closer to the trip.
Please note that this is a day trip only and does not include an overnight stay.
Drop-off & Pick-up
Transportation will be provided between the camp and the cottage only. Parents are responsible for dropping students off at 2333 Wyecroft Road before departure and picking them up from the same location upon our return.
Trip Fee
The total cost of the trip is $100, which includes:

Device Policy
To encourage students to enjoy the outdoors and spend meaningful time with one another, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, and other electronic devices are not permitted.
Students may bring a phone if needed. Upon arrival at camp, phones will be collected by staff for safekeeping. Students may request to use their phones whenever needed during the trip, after which they will be returned to staff for safekeeping.
Clothing Guidelines
Please ensure that all clothing, including sportswear and swimwear, is modest and Islamically appropriate (covering the stomach and extending below the knees). For swimming, students should bring a dedicated swim shirt.
Many activities will take place outdoors, so students should bring clothing that they do not mind getting worn out.
Labelling Personal Belongings
Please label all personal belongings with your child's name using a permanent marker or name labels. The most commonly misplaced items include water bottles, towels, hats, clothing, bags, and sports equipment.

This Thursday’s (July 23rd) Trip Update
We understand that paying for multiple trips within the same week can be difficult for some families. To help keep costs reasonable, we have decided not to schedule a separate Thursday trip during this final week of camp. Hence, Wednesday, July 22nd will mark the last day of day camp (10 AM - 3 PM) this week.
